Android 7.0 nougat number of exclusive features like’s multi-tasking keyboard themes, Navigation bar, and more Android 7.0 Nougat is fabulous. Having been charmed by functionality, I have been using it in advance on my Nexus 6P.

First off take Backup of your phone before you download Android 7.0 Nougat on your Smartphone. Launch Settings app your Android phone and tap on Backup & Reset. Don’t forget to check ‘Backup my data’ and ‘Automatic restore’.

Step1: Download Android Nougat after your Android phone is backed up successfully. Now open the Android Nougat Developer preview web page on this page you will get an overview of various stages of the preview. You also get Android N features and functionality.

Step2: Now open Android Beta Program website and sign in with your Google account.

Step3: Here you will get a list of compatible devices. Register you device in the beta program and then click the Enroll Device button.

Step4: Once your Android device is registered, you will get over-the-air updates to Android 7.0 Nougat just like any other regular OS update.

Besides, there is an option to install the Android Nougat update manually by downloading and installing the android 7.0 system image.

How to Downgrade from Android Nougat

For whatever reason, you no longer want to test Android Nougat; you can go back to an earlier version. However, make sure to backup your device first as it will wipe up all the existing data on your phone.

Step1:  Launch Android Beta Program website.

Step2: Then click on ‘Unenroll device’ option.

Step3: You will get an update on your Android phone, download and install the update to remove Android Nougat and reinstall the latest public version of Android.
